What a find! Hard to get seats even in a weekday, call ahead, way ahead! The seating and setting are intimate and very mood enhancing. The dishes... Spectacular. For fine dining and overall quality the check was underpriced. And the waiters were super nice.

I had onion soup in Paris and tried it at this cafe. It's just as good, maybe even better. I definitely recommend it.

Exquisite small selection of local draft breweries. I had the von Trapp Helles blond Austrian style beer. Ordered the Steak Frittes instead of fries substitute for mouth watering mashed potato. My executive 2 hours plus lunch time is the normality. Matt my regular bartender was amazingly tentative. Cheers & Bon Appetite. ❤️🍁🇺🇸🙌🍁❤️

Very delicious! I stopped here on a cold, rainy day. This was my first time visiting Vermont. I flew up (to Boston) from Georgia, and drove from Manchester, NH. I parked in the area hoping to find some good Vermont Cheddar cheese and poutine. I wasn’t disappointed. I got the 2 year aged cheddar to start. It came out charcuterie style and was very satisfying. No crumbs were spared. I also ordered the short rib poutine. This was phenomenal. Portion was great for the price also. I highly recommend Leunig’s Bistro for anyone visiting Burlington.

Leunig’s Bistro & Café After a 23 mile bike ride, I was starving, but didn’t want to just grab anything. I was ready to sit and enjoy a meal comfortably. The outside dining area was the perfect spot! I ordered a chocolate martini to start with and that came out fabulously – maybe one of my top-five of all time martini’s! I ordered the Shrimp salad and it was absolutely amazing! I’ve dined a lot of places and have never come across a dish so light, delicious, and creative in presentation. I loved it’s Church St. Marketplace location and I had a front row seat to all the passersby during my entire late lunch. I would definitely recommend this place as the service was fast, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Bathrooms were also very clean!

A must visit if anywhere near Burlington, VT. Everything we ordered was amazing amd to the point- the fries, the French toast casserole, the creme brulee and the chocolate molten cake. The ambience got us few nice clicks during a sunny afternoon. Also, the service was excellent- food came quickly.

We visited Leunig’s to celebrate being newly married, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The manager herself took care of us, and her warmth, kindness, and attention to detail went above and beyond anything we expected. We were welcomed with a champagne toast upon being seated such a beautiful touch to start our evening. The Beef Tartare appetizer was absolutely mouthwatering, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. I had the steak, my husband had the pork chop, and both dishes were cooked to perfection, rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The bartender recommended a wine that paired perfectly with our meals, it was pure gold. And just when we thought the evening couldn’t get better, we were surprised with a complimentary dessert that was truly chef’s kiss. Our hearts (and stomachs!) were full. We felt genuinely celebrated, and it meant the world to us. Leunig’s isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience filled with joy, care, and culinary excellence. We are so grateful for the memory and will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend!

Glorious warm September day. We sat inside but the windows were completely removed/open to the sidewalk cafe. Excellent fish and chips, available battered and fried, or broiled. Tartar sauce is homemade and delicious. Most menu items can be made gluten free. Nice selection of craft brews on tap. The only drawback to this place is parking. Quirky, eclectic decor and super friendly wait staff.

Enjoyed such a delicious meal with my friends here. Everyone was satisfied with what they ordered. I loved the Strawberry-Rhubarb Quinoa & Burrata Salad. It was very refreshing, filling and flavorful! The wait staff were very nice and it was all around a pleasureful experience to come to Leunig's Bistro on the last leg of our trip.
